The problem isn’t Israel, it’s a global media that hates Israel.

I have found that supporters of Israel are overwhelmingly obsessed with the problem of public relations.

It is uniformly agreed that media coverage of Israel is overwhelmingly negative, biased, and often corrupt. Sometimes, it involves outright lying, including on the part of ostensibly respectable media outlets like the New York Times.

Why, supporters ask, can Israel not successfully counter this as brilliantly as it counters its military enemies? Why are its PR efforts—referred to in Hebrew as hasbara (explanation)—so hopelessly terrible?
