The Red-Green Alliance’s coming terror campaign

There is every reason to believe that, faced with the failure of their mob tactics, the Alliance will turn to targeted atrocities.

I’ve felt for some time that we should not become overly complacent due to the sudden drop in the intensity and violence of antisemitic campus and street protests.

Yes, it’s good news that Jewish students are not being actively harassed, hunted, and assaulted nearly as much as they were. Yes, it’s even better news that the systemically antisemitic professoriate regime is clearly running scared. Perhaps the best news is how violently the campus protester-terrorists’ campaign has backfired, which is testimony to the moral integrity of much of the American people.

We should regard this lull, however, as a momentary interregnum. The campus antisemites are currently deterred, but they are using the opportunity to regroup and reassess their tactics.

This is quite ominous because the protester-terrorists now have only one route to take: Dropping the “protester” and turning to outright terrorism. We are likely on the cusp of the next stage of their campaign to ghettoize and destroy the American Jewish community; one in which the weapon ceases to be the mob and becomes terrorist atrocities.

A recent Free Beacon report may be a sign of things to come. It states that a recent law enforcement search of the home of two sisters in the top ranks of George Mason University’s chapter of the hate group Students for Justice in Palestine revealed what was, essentially, a nascent terror cell:

When officers entered the Chanaa family home, they found firearms—modern weapons, not antiques—as well as scores of ammunition and foreign passports, all of which sat in plain view, according to court documents obtained by the Free Beacon and sources familiar with the investigation. They also found pro-terror materials, including Hamas and Hezbollah flags and signs that read “death to America” and “death to Jews,” according to court documents and sources familiar.

The Beacon reports that the Muslim-American establishment has, of course, rushed to the sisters’ defense, with the umbrella hate group CAIR ranting about “draconian measures used by law enforcement authorities” to “silence or intimidate those who seek to end the Israeli genocide in Gaza.”

The emerging strategy seems to be clear: The progressive/Muslim supremacist Red-Green Alliance will stand back and stand ready as its foot soldiers plan for a terror campaign, and then jump to the soon-to-be terrorists’ defense when the moment is right.

If and when actual terror attacks occur—and they will not be committed solely against Jews and Jewish institutions—the campaign to protect and exonerate the terrorists on “civil rights” grounds will be activated. Plausible deniability will be carefully maintained, of course, however implausible it might be.

This turn to terrorism is not only natural, it is inevitable for several reasons:

1. The protester-terrorists already worship terrorism and terror organizations, lionizing Hamas, Hezbollah, and similar barbaric organizations.

2. The strategy of using mob violence under the cloak of free speech and assembly—neither of which actually protect mob violence—has largely failed and the Red-Green Alliance knows it.

3. There is immense frustration among the foot soldiers and, presumably, the leaders of the Alliance over this failure.

Indeed, even while the protester-terrorist campaign was underway, the foot soldiers were lamenting their inability to prevent their fantasy “genocide” in Gaza and musing on possible “other” measures they might take.

There is, of course, only one “other” measure that is available or indeed thinkable, which is to emulate the Alliance’s heroes and start killing people. There is strong circumstantial evidence that plans for such a campaign are already underway.

The primary targets of this campaign—at least initially—will be American Jews, but the Jews will not be or remain the only targets. It must be remembered that the Red-Green Alliance is as violently anti-American as it is antisemitic. It views the United States as a genocidal, rapacious, oppressive force that is the moral equivalent of Nazi Germany, and we know this because they say so at every possible opportunity. The chants of “Death to America” at the Alliance’s mob events are no coincidence. They mean it.

This could easily result in what is, essentially, a nationwide campaign of domestic terrorism. We must face what this could mean: Assassinations of Jewish and non-Jewish politicians, suicide bombings on buses and subways, acts of industrial and other forms of sabotage, mass shootings, airplane hijackings, and all the other tactics of atrocity so familiar from around the world.

Moreover, like terrorists in general, the Alliance’s terrorists will be despised by the American people but find much support in the American aristocracy.

There will be constant protests that the terrorists are an inevitable result of American support for Israel; that the terrorists are heroically attempting to stop the Israeli “genocide” of the Palestinians; that the terrorists are admirable freedom fighters; that the chickens come home to roost by any means necessary; and so on. The professoriate regime, radical lawyers, and Alliance-owned politicians will rush to the terrorists’ defense. Everything possible will be done to obstruct law enforcement attempts to stop the terror campaign and, given the institutionalized power of the progressive aristocracy, it will be at least partially successful.

The only way to prevent such a desperate situation is to take every legal action necessary to stop the Alliance’s terror campaign before it starts. That law enforcement busted the nascent cell at George Mason University is a good sign, but it is not enough. I do not know if the highest authorities are already taking action or not, but one should hope that the FBI and other law enforcement agencies understand the nature of the threat and are taking the necessary measures.

Surveillance and interdiction of Red-Green Alliance organizations ought to be underway already. Any violation of the law by the Red-Green Alliance must be severely punished. A zero-tolerance policy on antisemitic violence must be instituted at all relevant institutions. Again, such counterterrorist action may already be underway. We should hope it is. America cannot afford to be asleep when the barbarians arrive.

Most important, however, is for the American Jewish community to take its own measures and prepare for active self-defense. If an antisemitic terror campaign is coming—and there is every reason to think it is—American Jews must prepare for their own counterterrorist campaign.

This involves the cultivation of a web of various self-defense organizations large and small, such as the Community Security Service, Magen Am, Legion, and others. These organizations should be coordinated, well-funded, and extensively trained to interdict and preempt terrorist threats in order to both contain the campaign and, above all, secure and save Jewish lives. Any legal means necessary to do so should be employed in this endeavor.

Working with the relevant law enforcement agencies must be part of this counterterror campaign, but American Jews must nonetheless acquire the means to defend themselves by themselves, just as Israel has. On Oct. 7, Israel was caught unawares at terrible cost. On Oct. 8, American Jews were caught unawares by the acolytes of Oct. 7. Neither Israel nor American Jews must ever allow themselves to be caught unawares again. We have been warned.
