"American Jews have three options:"

American Jews have one option only: vote for President Donald Trump, the giant of Middle East diplomacy who pushed through the Abraham Accords against the advice of the entire, pro-Arab State Department and related elites.

Any other option reduces to a vote for Kamala Harris for President by 2026. Take a deep breath and grasp the implications of that for Israel.

Agree 💯. The other options is a wasted vote. The American Jewish community needs to remember Rabbi Weiss who urged Jews in America to keep quite about the plight of their brothers and sisters in Europe. It's time to send a strong message to the Democrat party. I did not leave the Democrat party. They left me.

"It's time to send a strong message to the Democrat party"

It is indeed! Meekly ignoring the anti-Semites that have a leading role in today's Democratic Party will only encourage them to be more aggressive.

American politics treat losers very harshly and that will apply to the faction that caused Democrats to lose in 2024.

Funny that, someone can be an exceptional President yet be totally unsuitable to date my older sister...

Voting for the man who moved the US embassy, brokered the Abraham accords and has Jewish grandkids for the third time. He’s also the standard bearer for the party that allows Americans to defend themselves in the face of mob intimidation and violence. Voting for the cult that has its own active Hamas wing in congress is part of why American Jewry is in this position in the first place and it was very visible years before October 7.

Not a fan of Donald Trump, and not Jewish either, I nevertheless applauded both his moving of our embassy to Jerusalem and his son-in-law's engineering of the Abraham Accords.

The progressive Democratic socialists have ruined our cities with their pro-criminal maneuverings and allowed destructive philosophies like BLM, DEI, and antisemitism to infect and fester in our educational, medical, cultural, corporate, and political institutions. It is unforgivable. They are killing Western civilization.

I do not know, however, that, given his many efforts to subvert the 2020 election and thereby the Constitution, I can vote for Trump.

But I will not vote for Biden until I see how he reacts to 500 missiles lobbed today into Israel from Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon, and other Muslim countries. If he doesn't help the only democracy in the Middle East, the only place where people can lead lives reflective of Western values, survive, then he can kiss my vote goodbye. I will not help him get reelected.

But then, living in New York, I might as well not vote at all. The Democrats -- the Al Sharpton, Carl Heastie, and self-called AOC crowd -- have us in a stranglehold.

It is sad to see our city, and our country, deteriorate.

Glad to hear that someone other than me sees the value in writing in Nikki Haley (or Richie Torres- Haley only because she did run for POTUS and in a world without insanity, she would have been the GOP nominee. ) I call Biden's policy "f**k the Jews they'll vote for us anyway." Unfortunately, the Jewish American community is not known for their common sense and will probably come out in droves for the DNC.

You may be right about American Jews, but I'm not at all certain of it. I think that their mentality has changed since Oct. 7. They may "come home" to the Democrats in the end, but it's not a sure thing, in my view.

I’ve voted almost exclusively Dem for around 40 years. I will not vote for them this time—other than, as you say, a Fetterman or Torres. But I’m not sure we have that where I live, Arizona. Ours have been quiet on the subject.

Good post.

It begs a few questions:

1)Why the hell would anyone - Jewish or not- be in the democrat party?? I will give some slack to the older blue dog dems, who are still sniffing those last drops of Camelot scented model glue - in an heroic attempt to no notice the bat shit crazy path the party has taken since obama.

I could list the reasons (societal killing ones), why one would rightly run from the dem party, but it would morph into 3 posts.

2) Why do the "fringe/minority/special" groups not get/understand/realize for decades, that you are pawns to be used and cast aside, at will?? Blacks and Hispanics are learning this the hard way, by being deliberately supplanted by tens of millions of illegal Bi-grants. Not sure how Jews have missed the whole dems are the party of the klan, slavery and eugenics but they must have, to be so closely allied with the party - at all costs. I get that many older Jews (a century or more ago in the U.S.) were socialist/communist to varying degrees, so going dem back then also makes sense, since the dem party facilitated the injection of those ideologies into the country. However, Jews are finding out the hard way that they are just as fungible as the blacks and legal hispanics. Like them, your worth lies only in votes, donations and activism. Why would a Jewish person vote inline with the party who's candidate GAVE money to their mortal enemy - you know the ones who have said for decades, that they want to wipe you off the face of the earth?

3) Lastly, how many times of being betrayed by the dems will it take, for Jews (or anyone) to say, "these dems really don't care what happens to me, so long as they get my money and vote".

How much clearer can the choice get: You have two old white guys.

One of them brought Iran to it's financial knees; moved the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem; worked to stabilize the region through the Abraham accords; all while unquestionably standing behind and supporting Israel. During his Presidency, no one in the world - except the fake media and dem politicians - had any doubt that he would send in pipe hitters, if anyone messed with our ally Israel. Oh and his Son-in-law, daughter and grandchildren are Orthodox Jews, so there's that.

The other guy has no idea who he is; released $6 Billion to Iran and signed a treaty with them that allowed them to sell oil; pulled out of Afghanistan leaving upwards of $88 Billion in weapons, equipment and cash for the Islamic extremists to distribute and use against their enemies in the region -- lets see, that would be Israel; sent munitions/equipment that were earmarked for Israel to Ukraine; and demanded that Israel "go easy" and dictated their response through blackmail (no support if you're mean to the terrorists), after hamas (who broke the cease fire) attacked their people in Kibitzes and at a concert.

So tell me...What the hell is so hard about that choice??!!

Can you unpack RFK as a “repulsive nutcase” a bit more? If you look into his statements on Israel, I think you’ll find him to be an ally. We need all the friends we can get and I think it’d be worth taking another look.

"I think telling people not to get vaccinated is monstrous"

Oxford Professor of Medicine, and lead developer of the Oxford Covid vaccine, Sarah Gilbert said as much when she said that since young people have very low risk of serious consequences from Covid but higher risk of vaccine side effects, they should not be vaccinated.

Note that it's become clear in the last two years that: 1) mRNA vaccine protection fades very quickly (compare to your polio vaccine), 2) vaccinated people can still be infected and transmit Covid, 3) young people are more likely to be affected by vaccine side effects.

Time to abandon the Rachel Maddow School of Medicine?

You broke your own policy by bringing up vaccines against RFK Jr., then failed to sustain your views with eloquence and erudition....

You could instead have talked about his ties to the Chavez regime in Venezuela via his Citizens Energy and been on firmer footing.

But for 2024 all that matters for the US and Israel is a solid Trump victory.

All vaccines have side effects and RFK has suggested that the childhood vaccine schedule should be questioned. I blindly accepted the vaccine schedule for my 3 children, but a younger sister was smarter and did her research. The vaccines are unnecessarily bundled together, some well before necessary, to make it easier for the government to get people to follow a lighter schedule. My sister did get all the vaccines for her 4 children, but she spread out the vaccines and didn't have them vaccinated early. I've never heard RFK suggest people should not be vaccinated. An example of an unnecessary vaccine (for most babies) is the HepB, yet the CDC recommends 3 HepB vaccines for all babies, all by 18 months. HepB is passed by needle and through sex. Approximately 10% of infected women will pass to their fetus, but pregnant women are tested for hepatitis, so why would the CDC recommend all babies get 3 vaccines? Pharma lobby.

You need to do some serious research (not authored by the Big Pharma or its lackeys inside and outside of government). Vaccines might be the only thing Bobby Jr. is right about. Most vaccine contain toxic ingredients, do not cure or prevent any disease, but cause more illness (and death). The COVID-19 vaccines are not vaccines-- they are bioweapons developed by and for the US military.

RFK Jr is in the mold of his father, Bobby Kennedy who was murdered by a Palestinian terrorist because of his support of Israel. And of his uncle, JFK, who broke the longstanding US arms embargo against Israel to sell it Hawk air defense missiles.

I'm moved to see that this ardently pro- Israel tradition has not vanished from the Democratic party.

The Demorat Party has been taking Jews for granted (as with the Blacks), and has now thrown them to the wolves. Most Reform and Conservative Jews are either "woke" or asleep. They continue to believe the propaganda of the American left. At least, the Orthodox (and +) Jews have some political intelligence. Too many, such a shame, American Jews have no use or regard for Israel (I suppose they are Bernie supporters). I never knew that so few Jews have the intelligence to think for themselves. I hope they wake up in time to keep themselves from being slaughtered-- America is no longer a safe place for Jews. Thank G-d, and the Second Amendment, there are some Jews who are capable of defending themselves and their families. Be careful who you vote for in November. Your life does depend on it.

I find your take rather puzzling. The anti-semites on the left despise Biden and call him genocide Joe. Yet he still gets blamed for them. And despite everything, he’s still providing offensive arms to Israel. Meanwhile, Trump dines with Nick Fuentes, and major figures on the right like Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson are embracing open anti-semitism. But that can be ignored? Also, if you listen to Trump’s recent rhetoric, it’s an awful lot less pro-Israel than it was in 2016 (there’s also of course the minor matter of him being a raging sociopath whose an existential threat to the country, at least according to most of the top members of his OWN FUCKING CABINET!). I think Jews who are mad at Biden and are looking at Trump as a viable alternative are absolutely kidding themselves. Pressuring Dems to move to the center and cut bait from the activist left makes sense. Advising them to vote for Trump does not.

If you recall US History, post civil war, the Democrat party and their radicals were not just anti black. They were antisemitism as well. The Democrat party has not changed. They want a lower class to be serfs and peasants.

That we even have to have this discussion is remarkable. Why wouldn’t Jews vote Republican? I have for decades. The Democrats are the ones in streets screaming about killing Jews and destroying Israel. These are Democrat voting people who Joe Biden is appeasing. Have you ever seen a Republican do that? I’m not talking about the ultra far right white supremacist nut jobs. They aren’t Republicans. Trump is pro-Israel and pro-Judaism. The most pro- Israel President in memory. Truman helped push the founding of the state of Israel. He was not a fan of the Jews. The Left is pro-terrorist and pro -suicide of the West. Biden is playing both sides of this conflict. Well Obama is, since Joe is a mannequin at this point.

Voting for a third party or abstaining just to not vote for Trump is ridiculous. Trump is better for America. Trump will bring peace to the ME, slap down Iran and its proxy terror groups and promote additional peace treaties between Israel and its neighbors. Don’t be a yutz. Vote Trump.

American presidential elections are binary choices. I concur with Elissa Wald who wrote on her substack:

"As of this moment, I still have the deep conviction that Biden is a good friend to Israel and I plan to vote for him with no ambivalence whatsoever. It’s my belief that he’s trying to thread an impossible needle here.

"It is painfully ironic that the far left is sure his rebukes to Israel amount to little more than political theater, while the right is sure — and a lot of Jews are very scared — that he means it. I side with the former camp. I remain certain that President Biden sees the big picture and knows what’s at stake. And he himself was in the White House when the U.S. made its even more devastating mistake with the hospital in Kunduz, Afghanistan — for which Obama was forced to issue many heartfelt and public mea culpas.

"But Biden is no good to Israel if he loses the election. And I hope it goes without saying that Trump would be an unmitigated disaster. He will never forgive Bibi for acknowledging that Biden won the election, and he has telegraphed countless times in recent weeks that, going forward, he will not play the role of the ally he pretended to be before. And he would be a disaster on every other front as well: for our country, our democracy and our planet."

Today Biden declared that Israel has committed war crimes against Palestine. They are fighting an enemy which embedded itself in the civilian population and which also was elected to govern by that same population.

Biden is throwing Israel to the dogs.

And I am Independent who supports abortion rights. Trump favors states deciding the issues. State referendums have overwhelmingly gone pro-choice in deep red states. This is an issue that a majority will win on. I am not supporting hard right anti-abortion candidates, but am voting for Trump because life was better under his presidency and if I were Jewish, I would also vote for the person who supports Israel. Not the person who took Hamas off the terrorist list when he came into office: Biden.

Jews voting for Biden remind me of women who stay with their wife-beating spouses. Things will never get better for you unless you stop feeding that beast with your votes.

Biden is in a similar position except the stakes are higher. We dont have( hopefully) like the US a Mentally Ill Psychopathic Narcissist waiting to help destroy the west.?
