The darkest money
The Red-Green Alliance’s conspiracy against American Jews will come out of the closet at the Democratic National Convention.
The internet is, to say the least, a very strange place. This digital eccentricity is the only explanation I can think of for why Red-Green Alliance organizations appear to enjoy having me on their email lists.
Presumably through bulk purchases of contact information from God knows who, I’ve been getting regular messages from the antisemitic hate group DAWN. Now, they’ve been joined by the Arab American Institute (AAI), which enjoys a considerably more substantial halo effect and, with it, political influence and cache.
DAWN’s missives are, generally speaking, transparent defamatory incitement, accusing Israel of the usual litany of alleged crimes for which no evidence is, of course, proffered.
The AAI’s message, however, was far more ominous. It announced something of a coming-out party for the antisemitic wing of the Democratic Party—to take place, naturally, at the Democratic National Convention itself.
I’ve thought for some time that the Red-Green Alliance plans to unleash its militias of progressive leftists and Muslim supremacists on the DNC, both in the streets and on the convention floor. Indeed, they’ve already said as much publicly. The goal is to make clear to the Democrats, in classic suicide bomber fashion, that the party must bow to the Alliance’s dictates or be destroyed from within.
The AAI’s part in this, needless to say, appears to be far more erudite and sartorial. It will serve, in effect, as the upper-class wing of the Alliance’s hate campaign. According to their missive, they will express this patrician antisemitism at a major event on the sidelines of the DNC in Chicago, at which several “discussions” will be held.
The participants in this event are a motley concoction of mostly progressive leftist individuals and organizations. Along with the AAI, the hosts are Jesse “Hymietown” Jackson’s RainbowPUSH Coalition and the Progressive Democrats of America.
AAI co-founder and president James Zogby—a very, very rich man who has been using his cash in service of Israel-hatred for decades—said: “These conversations will confront the elephant in the room—the US’s unquestioning support for Israel in its unrelenting genocidal war on Palestinians.”
Given that the Alliance has been shrieking about this “support” for months and Zogby for his entire life, one wonders how this constitutes an “elephant in the room” of any kind. Indeed, we never hear the end of this particular elephant, the pachyderm in question having apparently joined the progressives’ favorite metaphor of the “chickens coming home to roost by any means necessary.”
Ironically, given Zogby’s rather dark use of his money, the conclave is titled “The Dangerous Role of Dark Money in Politics,” a thinly veiled reference to the Elders of Zion archetype. The subtitle begins the incitement immediately, calling the event: “A discussion of how pro-Israel groups targeted more than thirty-five million dollars in 2024 to unseat progressive black members of Congress.”
This is standard stuff: The Jews are racists who are working to destroy black and minority communities, along with, presumably, everybody else. That Jews might have a fairly obvious and justified interest in defeating antisemitic politicians is, apparently, unthinkable.
Needless to say, given that ongoing attacks on Jews in cities like New York are often committed by people of color, this is pure incitement to antisemitic violence for which, we may be sure, none of the participants will be held accountable.
Needless to say, the Elders of Zion loom large over this event, with the usual self-pitying and awkwardly phrased bromides declaring that “the US policy debate over Israel/Palestine has intensified leading pro-Israel groups to work with some members of Congress and state legislators to silence voices and penalize actions that are critical of Israel.”
Moreover, the Jews are apparently exploiting antisemitism—the Red-Green Alliance’s foundational ideology, let us not forget—in order to engage in this brutal oppression: “By expanding the definition of antisemitism to include most criticisms of Israel and by denying Americans the right to boycott or call for sanctions against any country for any reason, free speech is being constrained or outright denied.”
It is hard for any thinking person to see how holding protests and riots at which people shout “death to Israel” and “death to the Jews” (as well as “death to America”), call for slaughtering millions of Jews “from the river to the sea,” and regularly harass, intimidate, and assault Jews can be anything other than antisemitic, but I digress on this point.
It seems clear that the Red-Green Alliance’s goal is to contract the definition of antisemitism to the point that they can say and do anything about or to the Jews with absolute impunity. Given that they have successfully accomplished this at the universities and in the activist industry, it must be said that their optimism on this point is understandable.
The self-pity continues throughout the AAI’s itinerary of hate, with one discussion called “Palestinian Voices that Must Be Heard,” as if they were not being heard at a decibel level so shriekingly high that we must “hear” them whether we want to or not.
The AAI also announces a discourse on how “International aid organizations are under fire for helping Palestinians at their greatest hour of need.” This discussion, not coincidentally, includes Mara Kronenfeld, the executive director of UNRWA USA National Committee.
As has recently been revealed by mountains of evidence discovered during the IDF’s operations in Gaza, UNRWA is, in effect, a UN-sponsored terrorist organization that actively collaborates with Hamas in the racist terror group’s efforts to commit genocide. It is difficult to imagine how such an organization should not be “under fire” or, at the very least, held accountable for its crimes.
The ultimate purpose of all of this is fairly clear: to further the Red-Green Alliance’s conquest and colonization of the Democratic Party. Indeed, one of the more prominent participants in AAI’s event, former congressman Andy Levin, asserts that the Elders of Zion are literally an existential threat to the party and ultimately the republic itself: “It’s time for our Democratic Party to come to grips with a gathering crisis. If we allow unlimited money from Republican billionaires to flow into our primaries where we are supposed to pick our Democratic candidates, we will both lose our autonomy as a political party and further undermine the integrity of our democracy.”
In effect, this is a blatant attempt to delegitimize any Jewish or Zionist presence in the Democratic Party whatsoever. Rather than a (ridiculously) loyal Democratic voting bloc, Jewish Democrats are the enemy within: A ruthless, corrupt, oppressive force that is engaged in racist machinations in order to further a “genocidal war.”
It must be said that it is difficult to see how, at the moment, the Red-Green Alliance will fail in this attempt. Given the otherwise inexplicable refusal to name Josh Shapiro as its vice-presidential candidate, it is hard not to conclude that the party establishment is terrorized and cowed by the protester-terrorism the Alliance has unleashed. Nor is there any indication that the Democrats will undertake what is the only moral response to the Alliance, which is to block its entryist campaign and purge it completely from the party.
The truth is that, whether it is physical terrorism or paper terrorism, if one cannot muster the courage to face it down, it will win. Thus, the Democrats have a very clear choice to make. Thus far, they appear to believe they can avoid making it, but the time will soon come, perhaps at the DNC itself, when they can no longer do so.
For American Jews, an even harder choice is looming, which is if and how to react to a classic scenario, one that has repeated itself many times throughout history: Many non-Jews are happy to exploit Jewish support, Jewish talent, and Jewish resources to their own ends. Then, when the choice must be made, they choose the antisemites.
In my view, the only dignified path for Jews to take in such an event is to do everything in their power to punish those who have used, abused, and betrayed them. Some Jewish former Democrats have already taken that path. We shall see, sooner rather than later, what the rest of American Jewry will do.
Why is this difficult?
Some right wing Americans embrace classical anti-semitism based on defunct Christian teachings. OK, my immortal soul is not saved. Our covenant promises land, crops, and children in exchange for faith. Nothing about immortality. As far as I’m concerned, we’re good. I’ll even listen to the occasional proselytizing, though it gets tedious.
Political, Marxist, anti-semitism is now a founding belief among American progressives. This flavor attacks Israel and threatens my descendants with poverty (see covenant above). My only realistic stance is to oppose progressives with voice and money.
Is there a certain cognitive dissonance? Sure. Had my ancestors recognized and reacted to that dissonance 90 years ago I would have a lot more cousins. Life is sometimes hard that way.
How about trying this for a change. If the Hamas wing is supported in the Democratic party, then withdraw your support from the Democratic Party. I am not saying that you have to throw your support to the Republicans; just remove it from the Democrats. No votes for them; no money for them' no endorsements of their candidates. Combine that with increase pressure on the existing Jewish members of Congress to follow suit and you will see an interesting dynamic develop.
