There is one omission from your rogues' gallery which puzzled me, namely, the exclusion of that unkempt schnorrer who was descended from a distinguished multigenerational lineage of Rabbis— with the sole exception of his own father who succumbed to the enticing advantages of conversion. Marx has certainly done as much or more damage than the worst of the self-haters in leading generations of intelligent young Jews into false azure of his dogmatic pseudo-religion. And unlike his predecessors who have largely become historical footnotes, Marx continues to serve as a Judas-goat whose teachings lead his followers to slaughter and self-destruction wherever they gain sway. Surely he deserves dishonorable mention in future iterations of your admirable essay.
On a side note, I ordered a paperback copy of Gershom Scholem's essay on Shabbetai Tzvi on a recent trip to the States. But I had no idea it would put my luggage over the maximum weight limit, so there it still remains. But, maybe someday... ;-)
Don’t forget to mention Gabor Mate who is everywhere on social media these days: being platformed ad nauseum and championed on every psychology conference and ‘Trauma’ webinar with the underlying intention of promoting ‘the good jew’ that he is, as he viciously defames Israel and Jews.
