"Donald Trump...is too toxic and too identified with right-wing antisemitism"

Did I just read that? Are you kidding? Trump was the most pro-Israel U.S. President since Reagan. And in a sharp contrast from the nakedly Jew-hating Barak Hussein Obama.

What more do you -- can you -- expect from an American President?

I don't expect anything. I am simply noting how I believe most American Jews feel.

You do realize October 7th happened after the Abraham Accords?? So Trump and Kushner made Israel less safe. And why do Republicans give Netenyahu a pass for failing to prevent the terrorist attack?? And they gave Bush a pass for 9/11 and Trump a pass for failing to stop Covid!?! That’s the scariest thing about Republican voters—they don’t hold their leaders accountable for their failures.

If you can’t count on all American Jews please know there are many of us non-Jews who support Israel. I think the Democratic Party’s attempts to kneecap Israel when it comes to taking out Hamas, for *maybe* a few thousand votes in Michigan, is despicable. He’s unpopular overall and will have trouble in states beyond Michigan…. which makes it even more pathetic.

Until US elected officials (and families) become victims of the murderous Muslims, they will do little to nothing to stop the jihad. Jews who continue to support the demonrat party do so at risk of their own well being and prosperity (and lives). To the Jews who are not "woke" it is time to arm yourselves, learn and practice, and assume personal responsibility for yourselves and your safety. "Never again" is not just a slogan.

I wish I could agree, but I think that if that happened, many elected officials would bend the knee and try to "understand" why these poor terrorists did such horrible things to them. It's pathetic, but unfortunately likely.

You're right. Sometimes I forget how badly these left wingers are indoctrinated, brainwashed.

Am I in an alternate universe, where everything is flipped? Trump associated with right-wing antisemitism? That's weird because I thought I remember Trump moving the US embassy to Jerusalem, a result of his unwavering support of Israel. I thought I remember Trump, one who doesn't play the race and antisemitism game, making the membership at Mar-A-Lago the first club in Palm Beach to be open to Jews and blacks. I must have taken a klunk on the head and have it backwards. The one thing Trump doesn't do is act as the speech/thought police. As POTUS, he represents all of us, the good, the bad and the ugly. That means talking and listening to all of us and then using his alpha skills to prevent violence. Biden (vapid and evil) and the democratic party will throw a few rotted bones to whatever demographic will vote for them, but the antisemitism (and anti-black, anti-female, anti-faith, anti-family bias) is the meat of that party. I feel like I just read a statement from a woman put into ICU by an abusive husband and she writes a letter defending him saying, "But he really loves me." You are totally deluded, in spite of the title of the article.

I was making no assertion, simply noting how I think most American Jews see things. You are welcome to think they're wrong.

I apologize as I went back and read "in their eyes." When I hear people talk about Trump's supposed racism and antisemitism, I question their sanity. The fact that Trump had to beat the locals in Palm Beach at their racism game to open up the membership of Mar-A-Lago isn't my opinion. The fact that the US embassy was moved to Jerusalem is also not an opinion. It is my opinion that almost the entire democrat party is willing to throw Israel to the wolves, and the only reason some dems have voiced support is because Alan Dershowitz clamped their cajones in a pair of vice grips.

Half my family is Jewish and I would fight to defend them without hesitation or mercy for those who would try to genocide them. I'm mostly European-American and pretty far right.

But I hope more liberal Jews wake up to the fact that the intersectional stack considers them just another "white privileged oppressor".

American Jews associate Trump with right-wing anti-semitism - really? After moving the embassy to Jerusalem and the Abraham accords? I do not believe this is true. I think American Jews know very well who their friends are.

I can't say I agree. Note that they voted overwhelmingly for Biden despite Trump's policies. That may be changing now, of course, but I think it's unlikely that it will change that much.
